My creative process for customs often begins with finding the right "bones" for a custom I'd like to re-imagine. In this example, I began with an "out of box" 10 inch stitch model that was damaged (so as not to waste one that still had its original collectable value).
Next, I sourced materials to match the vision in mind. When possible, I like to reuse or repurpose materials I find day to day. That can't always be the case, but it is fun to try to do.
Then began the "that didn't quite work" cycle... that is where my oddball approaches and techniques come to light.
It is always a challenge and I almost always have to take breaks from projects because it can be frustrating, but is really rewarding when thing come together in the end.
I hope you enjoy seeing a bit of this process and I hope in the future to add more examples of individual customs.
